HI Everyone! Here's a layout I created of Ashley for the Precious Remembrance Shop's Saturday Creations. I used the Prima Yuki Collection and fusssy cut images from the design paper. I love all the fun colors in this collection. I thought it would fun to add a calender from the Calendar Stamp Set and just stamp the day we had gone to the Carnival. I love that you can create your own calendar and have the option to add all the days or just the one day. This stamp set is also perfect to add to your journal pages. I just love my Fiskars Cloud punches and had to add some clouds onto this layout. On the bottom left corner I added a I Am Roses white Rose in between two of the flowers I fussy cut from the design paper. I then stamped the Adventures sentiment onto some design paper and used my EK Success Ticket punch. I had fun creating this layout. Polaroid Camera

Hi Everyone!

I'm SO super excited about my new Custom Polaroid Camera Die that I designed with AccuCut Custom Shape Pros. I've been wanting to create this die for long time and wasn't sure what took me so long. Heehee My inspiration for creating this die was, I have an old photo of my dad with my brothers and sister when we were younger and its the only photo I have of the five of us. My dad had a Polaroid camera and took a lot of pictures using it. This happens to only be the one I have and I cherish it dearly. I had the photo for a long time that the top layer of the Polaroid film tore off, but I managed to save it and scan it on my computer. You can see the cracks in between the picture. I just love this photo so much. Creating this camera was a perfect way for me to capture the same special memories of my family that I can keep for a long time and not worry about the top layer peeling off. This way I can add any of my favorite photos and just layer the Polaroid Film die cut on top. Its even cuter when you add design paper. I can also stamp, emboss, paint and so much more on it. I was lucky enough to find an old Polaroid at my local Antique store, but wow I can't believe how much the film cost now a days. Now, I can have as many pictures as I want. I created two different sizes and thought it would be also cute to have a smaller size to accent on my pages. I always love to create a cover for my custom dies and the great thing is that I can use this die in so many ways. Below are several projects I created using my Polaroid Camera Die.

I wanted to create an actual Polaroid Camera and this was fun to make. The collection I used is Bo Bunny Country Garden.

I thought it would be fun to create a card and have the Polaroid Film come out as if a picture was just taken. The collection I used for this project was Colorbok Antique Paperie.


Of course I just had to create a mini album. I brought three of my girls to the park and had a fun picnic. These pictures where just perfect for this mini. The three collections I used were My Minds Eye Be Happy, Howdy Doody and Bo Bunny Country Garden.

Friendship Layout

Natalie had gone to her friends slumber birthday party and took this adorable picture with one of her friends. I thought this would be a great picture on a layout. I used the gorgeous GCD Studios Antiquities collection that was designed by Donna Salazar which I had purchased from my local Michaels. I just love all the dress forms and vintage images. There were a ton of images that were perfect and may I say "fun" to fussy cut out. I always place my 12 x 12 layouts on medium weight chipboard or a canvas. It just makes it easier to display or hang. I used one of my paint brushes and Lindy Stamp Gang Dark Chocolate Truffle to create a splatter background. There were a ton of border strips from the paper stack and I decided to layer them too. I incorporated the gorgeous I Am Roses White Puffy Daisy which I cut in half and sprayed with Lindy's Sea Grass Green. For the center flower, I added a White Rose that I first sprayed with Lindy's Salt Water Taffy then used a paint brush to paint the tips of the petal with Lindy's Cape Cod Coral and also paint the center of the rose too. I love the two toned color. The smaller White Roses I sprayed also with the Cape Cod Coral Starburst Spray and to accent the flowers, I added the super adorable and tiny Brown Roses. Cupcake For You Card

Hi Everyone!
I'm happy to share with a card I created for Precious Remembrance Shop. I met Dyane over a year ago on YouTube and I so excited for her and love her new stamp collections. I'm thrilled to be a Guest Designer for the Precious Remembrance Shop for April's Saturday Creations. Here I created a birthday card using Echo Park Country Drive collection. Cupcakes are one of my all time favorite desserts and I had a blast paper piecing all these cupcakes with the Birthday Stamp Set. I placed the cupcakes on a stand using Sizzix Cake w/Stand,Candles & Flower Die. I then layered some leaves with my Martha Stewart Frond Leaf punch and I Am Roses flowers. For the sentiment, I stamped celebrate onto the design paper and used my favorite Fiskars Ticket punch. Inside the card, I added a single cupcake and stamped the sentiment cupcake for you. I had a great time creating a birthday card and look out for my next Saturday Creations using the adorable Calendar Stamp Set.

My Favorite Things Layout

HI Everyone!

I'm having so much fun creating layouts and here I created a layout of my daughter Natalie of her favorite things. The paper collection is My Favorite Things by Recollections which I had purchased from my local Michaels. I loved all the images in this paper stack and wanted to add a lot of layering and fussy cutting on her layout. One of Natalie's favorite thing to do is bake. She can bake all day if she wanted to. heehee Her most favorite is cupcakes therefore I fussy cut out some cute cupcakes and adhered it to the layout. Natalie also LOVES makeup. I will be the first to tell you that she has more makeup than me. Lol! Her most favorite and first thing she buys when I take her to the store, are nail polish and lipstick. I think she has almost every color out there. Heehee I also fussy cut out the cute image of the girl and PINK poodle because she loves clothes and our Toy Poodle Princess. I added some gorgeous I Am Roses Purple Poinsettia (Substitute) and Small White Flowers to the planter and sprayed them both with Lindy Stamp Gang's Glitz Spritz Scintillating Silver. On the bottom by the post I added the beautiful White Flower, Two Toned Purple Rose, Two Toned Purple Cherry Blossom and my favorite Small White Flower which I had also sprayed with Scintillating Silver. I layered several gorgeous trims from The Piece By Piece which I love. This layout was really fun for me to create because its all the things that Natalie loves.

I Am Roses "April Showers Bring May Flowers"

Hi Everyone!

I'm excited to share that with you another contest I Am Roses will be hosting on their iamrosesdt YouTube channel. Be sure to check out the contest video for all the details. I created this layout of my daughter Ariana with Echo Park This & That Graceful collection. I really love the bold colors. I layered three of the measuring tapes that I fussy cut from the design paper and placed them beside her photo. I added a White Spray,Soft Pink Crochet Flower and a Mini White Rose. The challenge is to create a handmade flower using any of the I Am Roses flowers. Here I created Tulips which is another favorite of mine. To create the Tulip, I used the White Petals which were stained with Lindy Stamp Gang's Cosmopolitan Pink and Hottie Patottie Hot Pink. I then added a White Stamen(substitute) and colored it yellow using my Y35 Copic marker. I placed the tulips on a Bingo card that I also fussy cut from one of the design papers. I also added a sentiment that was from the design paper as well and the butterflies where punched out from my Martha Stewart butterfly punch. To finish off the layout, I added this beautiful green rosette trim that I received from Jo and just loved how it all came together. I look forward to all of you participating and seeing all your handmade flowers.

Happy Easter Altered Easter Egg

Hi Everyone!
I'm excited to share with you that I've been invited to design for Sweet Nothings Stamp Company. I look forward to creating a ton of projects with Lina's adorable digi images. Here I altered a large Easter Egg for my daughter Maddy. I thought it would be adorable to add Sweet Sophie on American Moss to look as though she's sitting on grass. Sophie was holding a flower and just had to fill the moss with flowers and eggs. For the background I cut the design paper from MME Miss Caroline Howdy Doody collection in the shape of an egg and used my Fiskars Cloud punch to give the appearance as if she's outside. I then used three of my favorite MS Butterfly punches and placed two of them on the egg and one on the Happy Easter sign. I really enjoyed making this and can't wait to create my next project.
