Polaroid Camera

Hi Everyone!

I'm SO super excited about my new Custom Polaroid Camera Die that I designed with AccuCut Custom Shape Pros. I've been wanting to create this die for long time and wasn't sure what took me so long. Heehee My inspiration for creating this die was, I have an old photo of my dad with my brothers and sister when we were younger and its the only photo I have of the five of us. My dad had a Polaroid camera and took a lot of pictures using it. This happens to only be the one I have and I cherish it dearly. I had the photo for a long time that the top layer of the Polaroid film tore off, but I managed to save it and scan it on my computer. You can see the cracks in between the picture. I just love this photo so much. Creating this camera was a perfect way for me to capture the same special memories of my family that I can keep for a long time and not worry about the top layer peeling off. This way I can add any of my favorite photos and just layer the Polaroid Film die cut on top. Its even cuter when you add design paper. I can also stamp, emboss, paint and so much more on it. I was lucky enough to find an old Polaroid at my local Antique store, but wow I can't believe how much the film cost now a days. Now, I can have as many pictures as I want. I created two different sizes and thought it would be also cute to have a smaller size to accent on my pages. I always love to create a cover for my custom dies and the great thing is that I can use this die in so many ways. Below are several projects I created using my Polaroid Camera Die.

I wanted to create an actual Polaroid Camera and this was fun to make. The collection I used is Bo Bunny Country Garden.

I thought it would be fun to create a card and have the Polaroid Film come out as if a picture was just taken. The collection I used for this project was Colorbok Antique Paperie.


Of course I just had to create a mini album. I brought three of my girls to the park and had a fun picnic. These pictures where just perfect for this mini. The three collections I used were My Minds Eye Be Happy, Howdy Doody and Bo Bunny Country Garden.

Coffee Cup Custom Die

Hi Everyone!
I'm so happy and excited to share with you my latest custom die with AccuCut Craft Custom Shape Pros. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning, is have a cup of coffee. In the evening, I have my Mocha Frappe from my favorite coffee place...Starbucks. I also enjoy drinking hot cocoa in the evening, especially during the Christmas season and stir my candy cane while enjoying my hot cocoa. Throughout the year, I love to give Starbucks gift cards to my family and friends as a gift and thought how fun it would be to design a cup with three different lids and a sleeve to wrap around the cup for my gift card. I really enjoyed designing this die and LOVE how it turned out.

World Traveler Eiffel Tower Album

Hi Everyone!

I was so happy when I received my Teresa Collins World Traveler kit in the mail yesterday. Wow, now that's perfect timing. After I had completed my Be Mine Eiffel Tower, I couldn't wait to get started on this album. Karla's embellishments and trims were just perfect for this album. I just love how it turned out. Everything just coordinated with this collection. Below are all the embellishments and trims from Karla's Etsy. Looking forward to creating a banner for my scrap room.

Eiffel Tower Album

I'm so super happy to share with you another custom die I designed with AccuCutCraft Custom Shape Pros. As many of you know how much I love dress forms, I just had to create an Eiffel Tower into a mini album. I've seen and purchased so many collections with the image of an Eiffel tower on it. I loved how it turned out and can't wait to make more. I love the new Be Mine collection by Echo Park Paper Co. and it just went perfect for this project. Arlene had given me a pack of beautiful pink, black and white trims that was just meant for this album. Thank you Ar! I'm waiting to receive the Teresa Collins World Traveler collection in the mail and look forward to creating that album.

AccuCut Baby Crib Custom Die

Hi Everyone!
Here's my latest custom die that I designed with AccuCut Craft Custom Shape Pros. I have a ton of baby pictures of my girls and thought it would be perfect to create a baby crib die. I can't wait to make one for each of them. This will also make a great baby gift. I loved that I can also create a matching card to go with the mini album. For the boy crib mini album I used one of my all time favorite Nursery Tales collection by Prima and made a this mini album for my nephew. I really loved the shade of blue and green on the design papers. The card I used was K and Company's Watercolor Bouquet. This collection is so beautiful and was perfect for this die. I'm so happy with how it turned out and I can't wait to start my girls mini albums.

Dog House Notepad

I had so much fun creating the dress form notepads that I had to create a dog house notepad using my new AccuCut custom Dog House Album Builder die. My mom also uses a ton of notepads and had to make this one for her. She loves her dog Max so much and thought this would be perfect.

Butterfly Custom Die

HI Everyone,

I'm so excited to share with you another custom die I designed with AccuCut Craft Custom Shape Pros. I had taken a picture several years ago at the Butterfly Habitat at Marine World of a butterfly sitting on a green leaf. I just love the way a butterfly looks from the side. Though I've taken that picture with my 35mm Canon camera and not sure where I placed my photo, I still have that image in my head. That is when I thought, this would be perfect to create that butterfly into a custom die. Here I used two collections from Creative Imaginations Devotion and K & Company SW Botanical Collection. Both collections had gorgeous butterflies on the design papers. I really pleased how it turned and just love looking at my butterfly album as it sits on my shelf. Thank you again Custom Shape Pros for helping me create that image of into reality.

Crowded Attic Sewing Machine Album

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to create a grunge album with my Custom sewing machine die that I designed with AccuCut Craft. Tim Holtz's Crowded Attic Collection was just perfect for this album. That's when I decided to incorporate and use my favorite products from him. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and look forward to making more albums with this die.

 

Custom Vintage Sewing Machine Die

I'm so excited to share with you my custom die I designed with AccuCut. Sewing is passion that runs in my family. My grandma owns a vintage Singer sewing machine that my Auntie still keeps in her house in the Philippines and I got a chance to see my grandma use it when I had visited her in 1981. My mom too loves to sew a lot, my sister also loves to sew and now my oldest daughter Ariana has the passion for sewing as well. I'm slowly learning as my mom and daughter teach me and I really enjoy it. Creating this mini album was perfect to capture those precious moments of my family enjoying their love for sewing. I look forward to creating so many projects with this die. Below I created two mini albums, a card and a hanging sign and just can't wait to create more. Thank you again AccuCut for offering this wonderful opportunity to create our own custom die to capture our cherished memories.

Butterfly Garden Bird Cage

When designing my bird cage die with Accucut, I wanted to create the die to be more than just an album. I visioned two of the bird cage covers together to appear as a full birdcage. I'm really happy how it turned out. It's exactly what I had visioned and more. I adhered two of the jump rings to the other bird cage die cut. I then added the chain to both the rings and the bar. I just love seeing the bird swing back and forth. I can't wait to create more.

Custom Bird Cage Album

As you all know how much I LOVE bird cages, I just had to have a custom die designed with Accucut. I'm really happy with how it came out. I want to incorporated as much detail when I was designing the die and had to make sure my bird cage had doors, bar, swing and feet on the bottom for displaying on my desk or shelf and large enough to where I can add a 4x6 photo. I look forward to creating so many albums with my die.

Polynesian Dress Form Calendar for my sister

My sister text me this morning and sent me a picture of the calendar I made for her on her desk at work. Then I thought....I should make her a dress form calendar. I text her back and asked if she wanted one, and she said yes. I made this one a little different than the other ones I've made. I wanted to create it with a Polynesian outfit. My sister has been Polynesian dancing since high school and she's so awesome. I can never shake my hips the way she does. I really loved how it turned out. I made the calendar with just two of the dress form chipboards using the K & Company Flora & Fauna collection. The necklace was made with one of the shell necklaces I bought in Hawaii at the International Market and just took it apart and made a smaller version to fit the dress form. I only adhered the top of the necklace so the rest will still dangle. The bikini top was made with some lace trim and I added a pearl in the center. I want to make another one with grass skirt material and coconuts for the top. That would look so adorable. I then adhered the trim low from the waist so you can see the hips on the dress form. I placed the remaining pre-cut months of the calendar in the inside the pocket using my mini scallop card and envelope die. I had so much fun making this for my sister.I love her so much and she my BEST friend ever.
