My Girls Vintage Paper Album

I wanted to create a mini using watercolor paper. I love the look of Gesso with Glimmer Mist sprayed on top. I love the look of PINK vintage girly albums and thought I could create another simple quick mini with paper. The mini was binded with silk ribbon and masking tape...yes...masking tape. Love the look! This was fun!

Playtimes Past Mini Page Information

This will be an 7+1 swap you will get one of your own back or you can keep yours and send me 7.

* Paper Collection this month is Graphic 45 Playtimes Past
* Shape~ Square and Size 4" x 4"
* Challenge~ Boy Mini~ Distress (Ink,Powder, etc.) Girl Mini~ Shimmer ( Glimmer Mist,Perfect Pearls etc.)
* Please be sure to incorporate both sides of the design papers on each page.
* At least one embellishment on each page (ribbon, charm, etc.)
* One page will need to include a pocket with a tag for journaling
* Please leave at least an 1/2" space on the left side for binding
* Use medium weight chipboard
* Place your name somewhere on the page so we all know who's work it is.
* Anything goes as long as you use both sides of the design paper.

* PLEASE be fair to everyone participating. If you're unable to continue the swap, please notify me asap. I would like everyone to have a complete mini album.

Will post the due date on the original post next to the Group List.

Place your pages in a plastic zipper type bag to prevent possible water damage and to protect the pages. Include a SASE( PLEASE be sure that the envelope is large enough to fit all the pages)with the same amount of postage as it took to mail to me, plus and extra FOUR stamps. If additional stamps aren't needed, I will send them back. PLEASE NO metered strips!!!

Journal/Mini Book with Handmade Paper

I wanted to create a Journal/Mini book with some Handmade Paper I had in my craft room. I love the texture in the paper and the look it gives to your projects. I had hosted my first demo at my local Beverly's Craft store and wanted to scrapbook that day. Thank you so much again Kim for giving me the wonderful experience I'll never forget.

June Dress Form Tag Swap

Here's my Dress Form Tag hosted by Marie at ThePrettyPaperBoutique. The theme was Dress Form and the challenge was to incorporate any embellishment from the Fabric store. The optional technique was to include either faux stitching,sewing or crochet. I wanted to create a Vintage Wedding Dress on my tag and loved creating the veil. I personalized each tag with their initials and each of the ladies can add their wedding photo onto the tag. I had so much fun creating the tags for all the ladies in my group. I used my custom Accucut Dress Form die I designed with Accucut. There's so many projects I can create using this die. Thank you again Marie for hosting a wonderful and fun swap.

Journal Pages

Journaling has always been a form of EXPRESSION to me. Its a way of expressing how I feel or what I'm feeling into my art work. I love to incorporate my passion for scrapbooking into my journals. I always believe in preserving every piece I have, especially when you can create a memory with it. Everyone is inspired by someone and find themselves incorporating their work into their own, but remember with Art Journaling... its something that is you. Here are some pages I've been working on the past few days.

* Please make this with a 3" x 5" medium weight chipboard (for both the birdcage/bird and card) I know not everyone has the TH birdcage die, but any birdcage is welcomed(this will be FUN to see all different types of birdcages), but please be sure to use medium weight chipboard or you can layer light weight chipboard.

Dress Form Tag Display

I thought it would be perfect to add my tags from my most recent Tag Swaps and RAK from all the wonderful ladies out there on my new dress form. I would've felt bad placing them in a binder then store it on my shelf. I know how much time and effort it takes to create a tag and this way I get to see all my tags while I'm crafting on my table.
