Hi Everyone!
WELCOME! to the I Am Roses “Tis the Season” Blog Hop. We have so much holiday inspiration coming to you from our Designers. You should be coming from Joy Nieva's blog. I'm excited to be part of this hop and here's my Christmas projects I created this year.
I decided to create two 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendars for my daughters Maddy and Ashley. I've been have a blast creating different projects with the We R Memory Envelope Punch Board. The drawers I created were just perfect for the calenders and both my girls just get a kick out of pulling the drawers. I plan to fill them will little goodies for them. Of course Maddy's will be filled with Legos and Ashley's will be filled with scrapbooking goodies.
Here's Maddy's 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar I created for her. The paper collection I used was Heidi Swapp's Believe Collection. I'm so in love with this collection. I'm really loving the color black that she incorporated in the design papers. On top of the Advent Calendar I added a lot of gorgeous I Am Roses flowers. I first layered a gorgeous lace from Lavish Laces and fussy cut some images from the design papers. I also die cut some beautiful pine branches from my Diemond Dies die. All the beautiful flowers I layered are listed below.
Big White Gardenia GB5-15
Red Roses R77-79
Christmas Mixed Lily Flowers LY1-79
Mixed Big Red & White Christmas Poinsettia CF1-78
Christmas Mixed Flowers R21-79
Small White Flower R19-79
Small Mixed Christmas Paper flowers S10-79
Here's Ashley's 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar created with DCWV's Christmas Made Stack. I thought It would be fun to create the drawers into a shape of a Christmas Tree. I added a large red satin bow that I created with Zutter's Bow-it-All from Blitsy. On the center of the bow, I added the gorgeous Red Roses R77-79 and below I added my new favorite Christmas Mixed Lily Flowers LY1-79.

Shabby Chic Altered Envelope and Tussie Mussie
Hi Everyone!
My mom's birthday is coming up and I wanted to create something special for her. I love making these altered envelopes and wanted to create a Shabby Chic with one of my favorite collections by K and Company Susan Winget's Floral Collection. I layered the envelope with a ton of beautiful laces and flowers from Craftsupplies 1 Zibbet shop. Julies's laces and flowers were perfect with this collection. I also wanted to created a Tussie Mussie for her sewing room. She can place some of sewing embellies inside. I really enjoyed creating these for my mom and hope she like them. Happy Birthday Mom!

Who says Happy Meals are just for kids!
Hi Everyone!
Its been awhile since I've posted on my blog. I wanted to share with you a fun project I created these past several days. I was inspired by two Saturatd Canary digital images...Fast Food Fly By and Bikini and Burgers. I then started thinking, how cute these images would be on a Happy Meal. I love the concept of a decorated box with a meal inside along with a toy. I then thought, how about I add a hamburger box, French fry box and a handmade item as the toy. I created my own box using my We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board and love how it turned out. My Life Style Crafts Hamburger Box die and French Fry Box die were just a perfect fit. You can create these with any theme and add candy or scrapping goodies inside. The best part is not only will my kids enjoy a custom Happy Meal, but my friends and family can enjoy one too. Below are a few Happy Meals I created. The Shabby Chic Happy Meal box is by the Paper Studio and I will also have a few of these kits available on my KOS Kit Page to create the Shabby Chic Happy Meal.

Lavish Laces July Guest Designer
Hi Everyone!
I wanted to share with you three projects I created for Lavish Laces. I was invited from Jaizella to Guest Design for the month of July. I wanted to created several projects using her gorgeous laces and embellishements, but also share several ways you can gift a special someone with her gorgeous laces and embellies. How fun would that be to receive such yumminess. Thank you again Jaizella for inviting me! I enjoyed creating with your beautiful laces and flowers.
I've been wanting to alter an Egg Carton for quite some time and always seen these only altered during Easter. Creating a Sahbby Chic altered Egg Carton can be made throughout the year. I just loved how it turned out. Its also perfect to fit those gorgeous Lavish Laces trims and flowers. I purchased these adorable Mason Jar tags from Bety. I just love her Shabby Chic digital images.
Here I created a Easel Card with a Drawer. I thought this was also an adorable way to gift someone with Jaizella's trims. Its also fun to create with her Rosette's and flowers. The Greeting Farm Cheeky Beauty was perfect for this project.
I wanted to make something a little different than the Easel Card/Drawer and thought to create an Easel Card/Gift Box. I really love the gift box and it fits a lot of the Lavish Laces Rosette trims. Also, I loved that I added the Recollections corrugated card vereses just adding cardstock. I wanted more room to write in and also love the card.

Custom Box I designed for the Mini Tote Bags
Hi Everyone!
I'm so excited to share with you a box I designed for the Mini Tote Bags. I wanted something adorable to put the Mini Tote Bags in for my customers and create this fun box. I just love how adorable it turned out. Of course it wouldn't be this decorated when I send it out, but it will definitely be Shabby Chic. Thank you again for all your support! My mom and I are having a blast making these mini totes. We will also have other fun kits created with these bags, therefore be sure to look out for those on my blog.

Lindy Stamp Gang's Birthday Blog Hop
Hi Everyone!
Today Lindy Stamp Gang is hosting a Birthday Blog Hop and celebrating Lindy's Birthday through May 4th. The hop begins at Lindy Stamp Gang's Blog and ends at Jo's Blog. There will be fun birthday presents hidden in the designers blog, therefore be sure to stop by everyone's blog and leave a comment.
I thought it would be fun to create a three tier cake with a mini album. I purchased a set of three boxes at my local Micheals to create my cake. Each box was first painted with Gesso and then painted over with Apple Barrel Antique Parchment acrylic paint. I adhered Prima Nature Garden design paper on top and stenciled each of the lids with Prima's stencils and Modeling Paste. I layered the top/bottom of the boxes with some beautiful Vintage laces and flat back pearls. The large Roses were sprayed with Salt Water Taffy, and the smaller roses with Whale Watch Blue. The leaves I sprayed with Sea Grass Green and the small flowers with Clam Bake Beige. I love the Swallowtail Butterfly brass charms and place one on each of the boxes which I painted Gesso to soften up the charm. I created a handmade flower for the top of the cake and added a Happy Birthday banner. Once all my cakes were completed, I sprayed Scintillating Silver on the entire cake and just love all the shimmer. A cake wouldn't be complete without a mini album inside. I create a fabric lace mini album and place it in the bottom box. I just love all the laces and handmade butterfly I added on the cover of the mini.
Thank you so much for stopping by and now it time to check out Kate's blog. Have fun hopping!

Hoppy Easter Candy Cup Favor

Hi Everyone!
I'm just loving the new Tim Holtz Tapered Fringe Alterations die. I instantly wanted to create an Easter favor with a chocolate bunny. I die cut the Tapered Fringe die with Crepe paper and sprayed the Lindy Stamp Gang Flat Fabio Greased Lightnin Green to create the grass and also added mini white flowers that was sprayed with Starburst Clam Bake Beige. I just love how its the perfect shade of green. I die cut the Sizzix XL Candy Cup die with DCWV Dear Jane Stack and filled the bottom with some American Moss. This paper stack is just gorgeous. I wrapped white seam binding which I sprayed with Scintillating Silver and added a white rose from I Am Roses that was also sprayed with Flat Fabio Pink Ladies Pink. I slightly sprayed the rose to give it a two-toned look. On the front of the candy cup, I fussy cut out one of the images from the stack and created a banner with the stamped sentiment Hoppy Easter. This makes a fun favor for your kids and their friends.

Art to the Eggstreme Contest!!!

Are you ready for another contest?
There are so many beautiful ways to color and decorate eggs but have you used Lindy's Stamp Gang to color and decorate your eggs? I thought it would be fun to create a Shabby Chic egg and just had to put my egg in a birds nest. I first painted the white plastic egg with Liquitex Gesso as my base coat. I then painted the entire egg with the color Patina by folkArt. I slightly painted Blanc Anitque also by folkArt for the third layer therefore I can still see the Patina color. I sprayed Salt Water Taffy and Scintillating Silver and added modeling paste by Liquitex and The Crafters workshop Ledger stencil. For the last layer of my egg, I added some trim from my local Hobby Lobby and a ribbon buckle with a flatback pearl. On my bird nest I sprayed the center flower with Salt Water Taffy and Scintillating Silver to coordinate with my egg. The mini roses and leaves by I Am Roses were also sprayed with Scintillating Silver for that added shimmer. Be sure to join Lindy Stamp Gang's Eggstreme Contest and we look forward to all your decorated eggs.

Matchbox with Mini Album
Hi Everyone!
I love the matchboxes with a mini album in the drawer, but thought I'd create something a little different. I thought, "how about creating the drawer to appear like one but instead be the mini album". I just loved how it turned out. I'm in love the Prima's Romance Novel Collection and have been creating a lot of projects with this collection. The designs are just beautiful. Below is a video of me sharing my matchbox and also how you can cretae your own. As always, have fun creating!

Valentine Mailboxes and Heart Matchbooks
Hi Everyone!
I have another fun Valentine's project you can create for Valentine's Day. I just adore these mini mailboxes by LifeStyle Crafts. They also create a cute Heart Matchbook that fits perfectly into the mailbox. I had such a blast making these that I just had to create a few kits. Be sure to stop by my Keep On Scrappin Kits Page here on my blog so you can create three of these adorable mailboxes too.
